If you're asking whether the AEs remain on when the high beams are activated, the answer is yes. The LUXs are a simple bulb to LED replacement for the AEs, there is no functional change with the way the headlights or AEs operate after the switch.

I received my v3's last Friday and they look great. I do have one problem though, everyone is flashing their high beams at me now.

Shipped in less than a week, awesome service!

A bit tricky to install with just your hands. I used some very long and thin needle nose pliers to do it, it was easier after that.

Seems much brighter when staring right at them, hard to say if there is more overall light coming out of them vs stock, but they're not meant to drive at night with anyway!

The color match with the mains is nearly perfect, very very nice!! The stock bulbs look pale yellow and are unevenly lit in comparison.

These should have come with the car from the factory!

Do you guys think it's stupid to get these on a leased car? I have a 328xi with 3.5 years left on the lease.. and do you think they'll last for the full term of my lease?

3.5 years is a long time. I'll get them and then sell them after your lease is up.

Hello all! This is my first post and I have a question...of course. I recently purchased a 2011 328i with premium package and a few other odds and ends. It does NOT have xenon headlights. Looking online at Lux's website it states that it is compatible with e90 LCI with xenon. Does that mean that I can't get it for my car? Thanks in advance for the help!

They will not work for non-xenon setups. Yours use a different configuration and bulb.

zzzbullseye, looks like you are in the same city as I am! Do you know anyone local who would do some coding on my car? I am thinking about getting windows and sunroof close with remote and flashing clown nose with door locked.

I don't really, you might try Bimmers R Us. You could also post the question in the Rockies/Midwest local section here on e90.

Please advise: stopped working.

Hello

I had LUX installed about 3 months and out of nowhere, right eye got bulb error message today.

When I got out of the car, the right eye was dead. I think i read somewhere that power supply shuts off automatically if car overheats but if that's the case shouldn't both of my LEDs be out? The weather wasn't hot at all so I am certain it wasn't the weather. Xenon works fine on the right side.

Please advise on solution or how I can receive a replacement.

They look very good at night/day and have been happy with them so far.

Hello, any chance these aftermarket led ae would cause "adaptive light control failed" dash light error?

Are they related mechanically/electronically at all?

Thanks for input.
