Wheel Fitment Advice Needed
Hi,
Need some advice from the aftermarket alloy pros. I am on the hunt for some new alloys for my car and was wondering what size would fit my car without causing any fitment issues, rubbing etc. The car in question is a bone stock 2007 e92 335i m sport auto. Found a set of vossens that are 305 30 19 on the rears 235 35 19 on the front. Would this fitment be okay or too wide for the car Many thanks ! |

Hi.
Now admittedly mines not stock by any stretch of the imagination but even with my wider arches the 295/30/19 tyres I was running rubbed a little. They’re too wide on the rears and tbh the front/rear ratios is way off too as really you’d be looking to go 275 on the front to match to the rear that you specified.

It depends on the offset of the wheel and the wheel width, 8.5/9 0r 10J or even 10.5j on the rear
I had some 19.s 30offset (et30) all round and 9j and 10.5j with 235/35 and 255/30 and that was pushing the boundary I now have some 20" Judd's that are 9j and 10j but a bit of an aggressive offset et25 and et28, with 225/35 and 255/30 tyres. I agree with Raj, the 305 will be to wide so you might have to look at some new tyres for the rear wheels... Lots to consider but get it right first time is the best way |
