Z4M Coupe

Could someone talk me out of the idea that a Z4M Coupe is a good idea (please ).

I've really fancied one of these for ages (even though I've always beleived if you've got a two-seater it may as well be a soft-top) and reckon it'll be a future classic.

This cheeky little one caught my eye (and I'm not usually one for white) - I'm hoping the lack of 'heated seats' is enough to put me off...
http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/auc/car_d...DU92080LG19026
...not forgetting the wife killing me for spending the 'en-suite' cash

Two years worth of warranty currently being offered by BMW is a real bonus too.

As it's not a vert the need for hot seats is diminished.

Great cars... great sound!

I like them too, I'd be very tempted if I was in the market for another 2 door. I also agree that they will be a future classic.

not what you want to hear I know.

White ones are very rare, so I think it is a good idea to get that one

You're all a bunch of b***ards - you're supposed to be helping me

Yes, they did a vert (beefed up Z4 basically), which is also pretty mean but I think the coupe looks better. The soft-top just looks like a normal Z4 but the coupe stands out much more.

Might just hold fire as I reckon the 370Z Roadster will be a bit special; just been released but will watch out for used ones in 6-12 months time. Sat in a special edition 370Z Coupe the other week and that was gorgeous (noticed it was still in the window yesterday calling my name )

I totally agree regards the coupe vs vert - it looks awesome and really suits the brutal noise it makes!

I saw a 370z the other day and thought it looked fantastic. The blipping-on-downshifts thing would be a toy I'd never get sick of too.

Remember being in one a few years ago, and remember them being hard and bouncy, but very fast with a beautiful engine note, especially with the roof off!

Spins the wheels for fun, and the slightest mistake and you're off.

But they're much rarer than the M3's, even though I'd probably take an M3 instead

But white is so last year............

Lovely in Coupe form. Don't like the Verts. Not sure on it in white though.

that's the battery. It doesn't fit below the car (because of the double exhaust) so the had to put it in the back. Quite inconvenient... By putting in a small battery you can gain a lot of space (almost all)

I had one, a black one, and loved the looks. Like already stated before. It is fast, especially with a proper suspension as the standard one is very bouncy, but one mistake and you are off. The electronics are old, so DSC is just on and off. With DSC on you will have a lot of interventions of the DSC cutting the power when accelerating out of a corner. (drove me mad) With DSC off you really need to know what you are doing!

The brakes are also not that good for some more enthusiastic driving. Tried a lot of different pads, race fluid, steel brake lines, but they never convinced me. ABS was to strong / acted to early IMO. The standard 335i brakes are better by a mile.

All these things of course do not need to matter, depends what you want to do with it. It is a beauty, that for sure
