I'm in for the BBQ.

Andrew, can we do a group discount on DPs? (Matt, Faraz, and myself)

Hi everyone. My name is Adam I and just purchased a 2011 135i 6mt. This car has the new single turbo N55 motor.

I previously had a 06 STI fully modded and ran a best time at bandimere of 12.8 at 108.

I love the new 135i and look forward to modding.

I took the car to bandimere yesterday and it did pretty well, considering I am still getting used to RWD launches and the DA was like 8800.

Here are a ffew pics of the new car and a quick video I made.

N55 stock exhaust sound.

Good driving Adam. That 60' is solid, you get that below 2 seconds and you're sure to be in the 13's!

Nice to meet ya, car looks great!

I had to take the car in the burnout box and warm the tires up some to get that 60'. My fist run I didn't and the car just spun and I got a 2.5 60'.

I am used to launching AWD cars where your 60' time can be as low as 1.6-1.7.

Nice car! You need to give me a call, we are looking for an N55 to develop some exciting new parts on! Might involve some free goodies for you 303-351-3515

You did burnouts with the stock radial tires? Maybe I should give that a try.

I told you to do that. Just figured you didn't want to mess up the tires???

The one time I did it in April I had my best 60'....FWIW. I think I pulled a 1.9, and that was my 13.9 run

It made a huge difference in traction. I just popped the clutch and hit brake with my clutch foot and did a slow 3-4krpm burnout for about 10 seconds until I saw a bit of smoke.

I can get a new set of rears tires for around $320, so these don't need to last forever.
