Now all I can do is hope they get it out the door and to Bremmerhaven STAT!

Then it's on to ship tracking

Ok, looking at the shipping schedules looks like with luck my car will be on the Faust - leaving Bremerhaven on the 19th and docking next month on the 12th.

If my car was done and at the port it would be on the Asian Vision that leaves today, but since they just finished production on it today and Germany is 9 hours ahead that's not happening.

If it doesn't make the Faust it's gonna suck as then it'll sit at the port until June 4th when the Tombarra sets sail.

Updated to Vehicle being transported to the port of exit, I'm pretty confident she'll be on the Faust now.

Mine is still in the body shop with an estimated completion of May 11.

I am really hoping it makes the Faust on the 19th.

Updated - on the way to the port of exit. Now I am pretty sure my Coupe will make the Faust before she departs.

Of course, I have no idea how many cars are sitting in the lot waiting to be loaded. Hope there is room for one more.

I am thankful the car didn't end up in the workshop. Now all they have to do is get it here undamaged.

Mine has been awaiting a shipping vessel for about a week.. so I guess it'll be on the Faust. Arghhhh - added 2 weeks of wait time because it must've missed the last ship.

193 - Arrived at Port of Exit, so she's just sitting there in Bremerhaven waiting.

Gonna be a long 4 days until the Faust arrives and fingers crossed she get's on that boat. I'll be pretty gutted if she has to wait for the next ship!

Do you know what port your car is going to arrive at? I can look up the shipping schedule and pinpoint it exactly for ya.

Appreciate the help! The SA couldn't tell me what ship I'm on.. but told me that my car has actually been on its way across the pond for over a week. *sigh* It's coming into the Baltimore port and should be here in a few days? I think it only takes 10-12 days to ship from Germany to east coast... at least that's what I'm hoping!

your either on the Tarago or the Integrity then.

Targo left on the 7th, Integrity on the 11th.

If you get your VIN you can get confirmation from here:

Update - Car did make it on the Faust!! She's currently docked in Shouthampton, UK - Should dock here in So-Cal on the 12th of next month

Next up is trying to catch the Faust going through the Panama Canal.

It turns out my car is one the Carmen.

Wherever she might be ......

It is my understanding the transport ships are propelled by trained Gerbils, straining against a perpetual Eastward current.

Looks like the end of June at best.

Somebody tell me I'm wrong.

Well, the Carmen is almost exactly half way across the pond.

She docks in Baltimore on June 1.

Clear skies and smooth sailing according to the tracking information.

I am having a blast following the ship.

Tropical storm Beryl is now stomping around in Northern Florida. Its forecast track will intercept the Carmen on Thursday off the Eastern shore of NA.

Not happy about this but it does make the wait more interesting.

Here she is, note the Storm off Jacksonville, Florida.

Slowly but it's making it's way across the pond. Thinking it'll hit the Panama Canal on maybe the 1st... I'll be happy once the Faust is in the Pacific Ocean!

My E91 is at the port awaiting a ship to NY. It looks like mid-June delivery. I sold my '06 E90 a couple of weeks ago and have been driving my beloved 2004 MINI Cooper. I remember the wait for that car and it was somehow a very quick 6 weeks. This will be a bit longer since it's already been that long and it still needs to get on a ship....
