i've looked a couple of times and i can't seem to get anywhere near the hp (KW in the real world chaps) rating am i missing something.
Anyway thumbs up for the effort but I too would lose the m3 badges, especially here in Oz!!! |

I think I have a new favorite 335. I love 99.5% the only two things being it seems like you could fit some more meat on the rear rim and the actual M3 badge on it

Nice body work! Rear fenders are spot on! You should make a template of those fenders and sell them. They are well done!

Car looks good, I mean obviously...it looks like an M3. Coming from somebody who converted his S4 to the RS4 widebody, good job! Get rid of the M3 side markers though...cover it up, black it out, who cares. Don't be THAT guy.

Awesome job, it reminds me of the M3 conversion built from a 320D someone posted here a while back, unlike his, yours has a decent engine which won't let down the looks.

Man, you really pulled that off. Greatest looking e92 ever IMO, and I've seen a lot of really nice looking ones too. Congrats on making it to the magazine, you've definetely earned it

Absolutely awesome car mate. Colour combo, body mods, engine, interior, wheels, everything.
There is a mountain load of work that has gone into this car. Not just the major things but the attention to details that would of required some late night beer and pizza runs for sure. I can respect people's opinions, but its sometimes hard trying to understand them. The guy puts OEM M3 guards on his car and people get upset because in the absence of anything else, he put on the only badge that he could find there. Please..!! I guess it would of looked much, much better leaving just a hole. Real nice. You need to get up pretty close to those side repeaters to even realise what was written on there. With a used M3 in Australia costing $125K USD, I certainly think the money spent is well worth it. I wonder what would get the most attention on the street? No, no don't tell me I think I might know . Anyway thanks to Standard & Poors you might be able to pick up a brand new M3 in the states, for a 1/3 of the price of a used one in Oz. I guess that might devalue an M3 just a little more than a side badge on a non-M car. Anyhoo, congratulations on a great build. Has to be one of the nicest, if not the nicest E92 getting around. One of the memorable one's anyway.

For the most part; a really great job! Love the color; will definitely make you look twice if you think it's just a space gray M3. =)
That being said; there are a couple of minor flaws from what I can see that separate this converesion from perfection. The hood / bumper doesn't line up right (as already mentioned, and specifically highlighted in the pic next to the "real" M3). It looks good in the magazine photos though so it must just be the way you put it back on (as you mentioned). The passenger side skirt doesn't meet the rear quarter quite right, nor does the rear bumper meet up correctly... did they get something a little wrong with the passenger rear quarter conversion? Overall though; most people would never see that; and the car looks amazing, love what you did with it. |
