This is the same day as the first summer season solo event at PPIR, argh. If for some reason I don't make the autocross I will try to do this. Curious to see if my Dinan stg2 flash is good enough for 13's.

It should be, the question is what about the driver??? The reason I say that is that I cut a 13.89 at @ 102 with just my jb+ barely turned up.

I've only had my fwd cars at bandi and only a little experience launching this car at autox. Just have to get it out there and practice on a T&T night.

At this point I'm not planning to be there on the 14th because I should be able to do all the testing I need to do for the spring done on the 7th. I'll go out again sometime after I've made hardware changes.

I haven't decided yet. I still need to get a helmet since I don't feel like renting one. I may just wait until one of the later evening T&T's.

Have any of you guys done Club Clash before? Not sure on price, but it's fun and you can get quite a few runs in - You'll do better as a team if your car is consistent, but racing that often will make you more consistent as a racer too.

I'm in this for the fun, not to be a better racer. I don't plan to be a racer most people on here are probably doing it to get together and have fun.

I worked a little on it last night. As long as all goes well (I don't need another New clutch after 90 miles driving it), I should have it all ready by then.

So what happened to all those other cars that you supposedly put clutches in them without maching the flywheel?

Nothing. They were good. My only explanation is that I went with a totally different clutch this time. Ive ordered a new flywheel online for $740 shipped. As long as the clutch disk is fine, I'm ok.

I MAY not be come down then if everyone is backing out. Gas prices are killing me, so adding this on wouldn't be great for me. Ill go if everyone else goes but otherwise, the extra 120 miles isnt really worth it for me (that would be a 600 mile 6 days....). Ill be much more inclined to come to events once I get moved down to Broomfield in a few months.
