Official replacement interval for spark plugs on an 07 335i?

I have searched and found two answers, 90-100k and 45k.

I ask because my maintenance warning came on stating that replacement was needed in 3k miles, I have about 42k miles on the car. I scheduled an appt at the dealer and the SA came back saying that his tech said the message was in error and the plugs need replacement at 90k. They reset the light and sent me on my way.

If someone can provide me a document/TSB that I can bring to the dealer stating replacement should be at 45k, it would be greatly appreciated!

I had mine changed at 45k when I went in for an oil change. They pretty much changed all the filters in the car and replace spark plugs, I don't know what else they did, but it seems like a mini-inspection. They gave me the air filter even though I have my DCI in, they told me it's part of the maintenance program, so they just gave it to me.

If you are stock, you are probably okay for 50k+.

Took it back, spoke with another SA and he said yes its 45k, dropping the car off tonight to get sparks replaced.

He also said its condition based so if the car thinks it needs them replaced sooner it will let you know. He said he's seen a 535 notify for spark plug replacement at 30k.

You don't need to do them at 45K, but I would not wait until 100K. 80K seems to be a good time to swap them out.

So will the spark plug change be covered under the free maintenance program? I want to know because I have 44k now and go to the dealer soon for an oil service. Thanks.

Seen a bunch round 30-40K. When we change them, they are definetely worn looking, especially if customer has Dinan installed or a box installed.
