I can check the coding and see. As long as it is before 1830 tomorrow ( I have to go to my shooting club) or after 2000.

We compared yesterday and there was not really a difference between david and mine's car.. I can't explain it..In my opinion, my old car sounded better The only difference at the moment are the 2 shelf speakers in the rear. They aren't connected yet, maybe it will be the same when they're playing, too. I don't hear anything from the rear anyway, when fading is set to center. Maybe this will change with the shelf speakers. I will connect them tomorrow. What i've done, too: An old AMP (2008 car) is now connected and I think, that there is a difference. With the M3 AMP from 2011 it was another sound. So it seems to be true, that bmw produced a worse amp after 2009~. |

Im in Sydney i have an 09 with individual audio. I love it. The only complaint that i have is that the drivers side speaker grill has a rattle which ceases when i touch it. I work with a guy who's a doctor in audio engineering and he loves it too. Im pretty fastidious too....
The EQ settings play a big part have you tweaked them to your liking ? http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=428114

Try the EQ. I posted a link I hope it's the right one lol. A guy with a real-time analyser gave everyone reference settings for correct response.

Hello
I'm trying to do the same thing to my E90. I am having trouble finding the location of where to install the crossover on the front door speakers. There is no obvious spot to glue this box on the door panel. Anyone know where it is supposed to be located? Thanks |

Just stick them to any of the flat surfaces near the midrange speaker.
