File a paypal dispute, or small claims court if he keeps ignoring you.

sucks man but the way i see it its your fault for not checking the wheels before buying them. live and learn is the best advice anyone can give you

btw you bought heavy OEMs wheels as track wheels? not the best of choices IMHO because on how heavy they are and you can find lighter and cheaper track wheels

Just to clear things up. When I sold this guy Ivale001 the wheels in Feb. there was nothing wrong with the wheels. He contact's me after 3 months later. He claim he never put them on until now but there no way of telling if he did or not. especially since his says he using them for track. On the phone he said all 4 wheels are bent not just one. I did say I would give him his money back, but after closer consideration do to the fact of length of time and the unknown real damage he himself may have caused, I will not be return him his money. O, and it only took me a few days to answer him back. not weeks.

Had the same situation happen with my wheels, all were bent and nothing I could do. I will NEVER buy used wheels again.

So you took them to a tire shop to just mount the wheels? After how long? Im confused. You can't buy something from a private seller and then 4 months later tell him they were ruined from the start. You could have put them on, ran through a culvert and then taken them off.

Both of you guys need to learn you lesson.

Have you looked at another option, if you are stuck with the rims, did you ever think about taking them to a shop to have them straightened out for you ?

To be real honest I do alot of online sales transactions and there is no way I would have refunded someone money that came to me months later about a so called pre-existing problem. Thats just crazy to do.

You are at fault for many things here. You shoudl have done the pruchase through paypal. When I got my RGB LEDs through an installer in Miami I purchased everything through paypal (Then I had a follow up check done on the installation and correction from a renown repair shop).

Also, you should have had those rims checked from day one when you got them or you should not have gotten them unless you were going to use them within that time.

You now just going to have to pay the extra $$$$ to get them straightened out.

You might as well remove this members name from your title post.

+1

I think this is 100% correct, you can't blame a seller after MONTHS of owning something, most retailers wont even return something after 30 days.

Just to clarify.... i put them on because there was an event i wanted to go. Immediately after putting them on i felt a noticeable vibration then i got them balanced where i found out! my fault is to not have had them checked before!

Not to sound sarcastic but if theres a way to bend the wheels without blowing up the tires i need to know! haha

1. If you are going to buy ANYTHING used, make sure its up to your spec before you commit your money to them.
2. To fix the wheel you will have to spend the $30-40 to have them unmount the tires.
3. If you have a problem with something you can't bring it up months after, thats not fair to the seller or yourself.

If you bought them because you will only use them rarely, who cares if they are slightly bent, you won't be using them that much anyways. If you bought them to use them all the time, then you should have had them inspected prior to payment or payed via credit card/paypal

Live and Learn, for both of you
