That is kind of what I'm having now... Not that quick peppy start. Plus I've noticed that my memory isn't working all the time - (in the car, not my head). Sometimes I'll get in the car, and the radio is on instead of the AUX and my ipod.. then others the ipod will be working and then just go off all of a sudden... then I have to go back and choose AUX again, etc. I've also had a few times when I get in the car and press the start button and the car doesn't start - it hasn't happened for a while, but when I first got the car it was happening. Personally I just want to make sure there isn't any gotchas... I'm already looking for new tires, new wheels, ordered a new closed air intake (AFE), and ordered the COBB AP tuner. Last thing is I'm trying to find a local person to code my car - I ordered the cable tonight.

Oo gotcha, well if you have a weak batt, make sure you have it on a batt tender when you marry your Cobb accessport to it so it doesn't die.

I-85 North exit 101 ish Norcross. 84 at 65 zone, paid $200.
Don't think it was superspeed ticket. but I believe when it is, it's x2. I've seen my friend paying +$400 for a speeding ticket on I-85.. Good luck |

If you paid $200 for that ticket, then you got one hell of a deal...

The super speeder ticket should be an extra $200 or so above whatever the ticket rate is... The officer probably dropped your speed to just below 30mph over to keep from writing you as reckless driving - which at their descression - can happen from 30mph and above past the posted limit. Just to put it in perspective, I received a ticket driving to savannah a year ago that was 85 in a 70. I was going through camden county - and the ticket cost $1220. My wife received a ticket here in Suwanee the other day - 56 in a 45 (that is somebody just trying to make money for their department) and it cost $172 So I'd suspect you will be in for about $500 or better plus probably a super speeder fee of $200 or better... and of course your points, which will be high for that speed -and the insurance cost going up... If this is a first ticket, you could try and go to court and plead traffic school - pay $200 bucks or so... then again, cop could not show and have your case suspended and pay nothing... its all about chance now... |

ya they didnt drop anything. it was a citation and not a ticket also did not say reckless driving just speeding. I assume its just a fine (I will find out in a few days) and guessing around $1000.

I got 84 in a 55 on 285 back in 2008 around Doraville. It wasn't a super speeder since it wasn't 30 over, but it was $350.

I'm an attorney here... where did you get the ticket? I would recommend taking a driver defense class via a certified place from GA DMV prior to going to court... at the minimum. I get these things knocked down to $100 fine non reported in certain cities.

Window tint - north ga near suwanee
Anybody know of or recommend a good window tint company near suwanee or surrounding area? Anybody heard comfort access being messed up with ceramic or metal tint?

Just picked this up from a forum member in NY. Drove it down last night and it's at the shop now getting a color change vinyl wrap. Then I'm giving it to my wife for Valentine's. So technically it's hers, but I'll be driving it a lot. First BMW I've ever had, only Japanese cars before Lexus/Infiniti/Acura.

Cool - yeah it looks like the angel eyes were upgraded in the pic - the bumper is upgraded - nav- nice on the low miles... sometimes that is what you have to do - go way out of the way for what you want... hope that wrapping goes well - I've heard about that - but I've never actually seen or touched a car that had the color changed in that way...

How it looked when I gave it to my wife for Valentine's day.
Still has to go back to the shop for some touchups and a few more mods. The color is a little crazy, but she's always wanted a car that color. Also, it's vinyl wrap, not paint, so not permanent. |
