Emptying OCC

Kind of a no brainer question, but does everyone just unbolt the can from the bracket, to provide enough room to undo the drain plug?

Wondering if I can fashion something up where the OCC can just slide into the bracket, so that I don't have to unbolt the can to drain it.

i unbolt mine at the "L" shaped bracket. so the drain plug can be accessed, no problem.
i did this to put clamps on ALL the hose connections, even at the charge pipe. since it's new and no oil yet i will unbolt it at the same place. it took 3 min. can't get much easier than that.
