Lovely looking car. Been thinking about getting an aero front for mine for a while now. Love the side skirts, makes a big difference to the looks, not sure they would be that obvious on my sapphire black car.

Now there's me wih aSpace Grey 335i wondering what to do re wheels maybe slightly different side skirts and what it'll all look like and then this little gem of a post turns up.

Great read and a set of really for me informative pictures, wheel wise looks really smart tough call re going black or maybe a lighter graphite type colour but to be fair both great choices on the Space Grey back drop IMO... Look forward to updates.

Finally like you've pointed out re the interior I'm kind of tired of looking at the slightly pitted and lightly scratched aluminium interior trim on mine and was looking at getting Piano Black as a replacement £605 + VAT sort of made me think about it again..... Gotta say your interior trim makeovers very effective..I like it like it a lot

Thanks guys, I really like this car so I can imagine that I'll keep tinkering with it for a couple of years yet!

The M3 skirts definitely work well with light colours, but there's bound to be a USA car in black with M3 skirts on the forum somewhere, for a bit of research.

I've actually changed some of the interior trim and gaiters since the last inside pics... Thought I had some new photos, but currently trying out the new Scotchprint
1080 carbon fibre wrap.

Yeah I've seen a few American cars with them, they don't really show up as well. How's the aero lip now you've had it on a while? Does it screw on from underneath? Your cars one of the nicest looking that I've seen on here

Thanks very much, as there are some stunning cars on here!

There was a strip of 3M adhesive inside the top edges and then screws in at various points along the underside -supposedly to match up to stock holes.

What colour did you paint the rear diffuser in Nigelo?

Any pictures of just the Eibachs fitted on the 19's?

Hey Chris! Those last 4 exterior photos are just the eibach and the 19s,nothing else.

I went gloss black with the diffuser (I had a fair inkling that I was going to do the alloys black all along) to match up with all the other exterior trim.

Nope, unless the guy selling them to me made a mistake and gave me his real set as opposed to his daily drive replica ones! Quite good copies though!

Car's looking great man! If I'm correct the rims will be ET38 front, ET27 rear.. what size of spacers did you put in the fronts to get them to sit right?

Most of the rims I've been looking at have a higher offset but your's looks like it's sitting perfect! Would rather have them sitting more flush with the arches like yours so trying to work out the perfect offsets to get!

Think you're right with those offsets - i popped in a 10mm hubcentric spacer on the front and although it sits great I needed to heatgun the arch liner a little to bend it out off the way to avoid a little occasional rubbing.

Cool, looking to get 8.5 et37 and 9.5 et30 so shall see how they go and maybe just need 5/7mm front spacers. Going by your own set up, d'you reckon et30 will sit quite flush with the arches on the rears? Or have you got a bit more room?

When I wasn't lowered I ran 265/30/19 Vredestein ultrac sessantas with no rubbing, but I get the tiniest bit now lowered with 255/30/19 p-zero Nero on. It takes a good bump to do it however.

A slightly narrower spacer at the front would stop the rubbing up front but I thought any narrower than 10mm and they might not have enough hub lip to centre the alloy.

Dropped the car of this morning to have the rear M3 subframe with its LSD installed. Picking it up tomorrow since they told me they'd call if there was any problems.... and well, they didn't call.

Looking forward to doing a good test drive! Or should that be test slide?

They were £110 from ppcgb.com (might have been .co.uk) but that was an ebay deal they were doing for a while.

Fitment was 7/10 but a bit of tinkering got them up to a 9/10.

Car looks awesome but I think it's screaming for a black boot spoiler... And that too a performance one!
