Sorry I haven't been around lately. Been super busy with a new addition to the family as some of you know

Hopefully I'll get out to one of the meets sooner rather than later (Thursday actually works better for me).

A couple other events I'm interested in doing this year:

BMWCCA August 24-26 (if we sign up now, more than likely all of us will get in and we will have a great group together).

Watkins Glen September 21-23 (I'd only sign up for Saturday and Sunday)
I've been to Watkins Glen and helped out with the Bimmerworks Race Team for a 4 hour sprint race (we came in 3rd overall), but haven't been able to drive the track yet. It's a very historic race track and I stayed in Seneca Lodge, which is where the F1 teams used to stay back in the day.

Hey Rob how is BMWCCA with tint? I'm pretty sure I will be OK as you can see through my car (35% side/20% rear). Just checking. I definitely want to do the Aug 24-26 event.

Charles - I know CCA says no tint, but you have to keep your windows down anyway so I don't see an issue as long as they can see through the rear window.

Charles DelVal BMW CCA had no problem with the tint on Ben and my cars at Summit Point, the material for DelVal chapter says minimal tint, I have 35 ben has 40

I think I will be OK with tint. I can see through my car. Sounds like they are against limo and 5% and that stuff ... which I can understand.

I'm pretty sure the issue with the tint is being able to see through the window if there's a problem. As long as they can see through, I don't think it'll be an issue. Like you said, 5% would be way too dark.

August is a great time! Always have a blast.
