Wow! He did a great Job and it looks great.
So the link that you put in your introduction is the one that you purchased? Just one, I believe around 180. (ORACAL 631 Exhibition Cal Vinyl 48" x 50 Yard Roll) Will this be enough for a sedan? Last edited by E92M356789; 07-03-2012 at 11:11 AM.. |

actually no i didnt end up using the oracal he said the oracal doesnt have bubble release and will not really let the paint breath so it would be bad for the paint in the LONNNNNNG run plus wont last so i opted to spend another few hundred and just get some expensive vinyl

I'm in Dallas and looks like i missed out on the group buy, how can i Get this person to do MyE92 M3? And is his pricing reasonable even though I'm not part of the group buy? Any info would be greatly appreciated, also the link where you bought your vinyl. I'm looking to have the whole car done minus the roof.

I know I am reviving a very old thread but PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT WRAP YOUR CARS WITH ORACAL 631.
The vinyl will last a very short time and if it lasts longer, you will absolutely destroy your paint. I cannot believe that any shop would install 631. Blows my mind to pieces Just as a comparison, I use Oracal 651 for shorter term decals. 631 is an even lower level of material in a matte finish. The only Oracal that should go on your cars is 970RA. Those of you that participated in this group buy, I would suggest checking to see how your paint is holding up (though I am not sure how you can do this without removing any material). Even Oracal states that 631 is meant for temporary and short-term indoor graphics. It makes me angry when shops use subpar material and damage customer cars in order to cut corners
