Best place to pick up a new battery

Does it make any difference buying OEM or can I just pick one up anywhere?
Any brand better than another?
Thoughts on this mundane topic appreciated.
Thx.

'07 e92, 335i, no M-drive etc.

I bought an OEM battery. I would stick with OEM I just think its a little cheaper only to go with aftermarket. Makes me sleep better at night. Things like Brakes, Batteries, suspension components I go OEM. There is not better alternative to the OEM.

Budds BMW in Oakville sell the battery for cheap. I paid $170 for the battery (which is a good deal).

I've still the original battery... think it's best to replace her for winter. Will go OEM as well

Remember to register the battery to your car when you install it. I can help you with that.

If you are getting a battery error, then registration won't help in this case.
