New n54 DCT maps posted later today. Fully tested on a 335is. Fixed the partial throttle jerkiness issue. Simple fix. Just needed a car to test it.

Maps for v4 too?

I have the v4 with firmware 30.

New v5 maps (12-17) for the DCT (and other transmissions of course) are now available for download here:

This should solve the light throttle hesitation/jerkiness issue that the old maps caused on DCT cars. If you have any questions/comments/issues, please email me directly at shiv@vishnutuning.com as I won't be on this forum very often for the next 7-10 days. But I will be checking email via phone while I'm doing all the holiday festivity stuff.

Changes to the 6MT and 6AT maps are minimal. No need to update to them if you are happy with what you currently have.

I just tested the new dct maps and I got a 12543 code at once on moderate throttle and a rattling sound while accelerating all the way probably due to wastegates being set at 30% by default. Any recommendations? Shiv?

To me has been the same... Error 12543.

Yes, that's an underboost code that is triggering during cruise. Just a diagnostic nuisance that I'm trying to get rid of without making drivability/shifting any less smooth. I'm currently emailing a few n54 DCT guys a new map to test. If you haven't gotten an email, email me (shiv@vishnutuning.com). I'd like to handle this via email. Too difficult to know who is who on the forum. Must easier to keep track of things offline.

i have been driving the 135i DCT with the Rev4 and no issues at all. If there is a new map for the DCT's shiv, send it my way!

Those maps gave me the 12543 code. I 'm waiting shiv to email me the newer ones. Any member who speaks directly with shiv can pass me the maps emailed yesterday? I still don't have them.

Shiv yesterday sent me new maps, but we have not found the definitive solution.

I hope that this all resolved within 24-48 hours.

This only seems to be a euro spec 335is DCT diagnostic issue. So please run the map I sent you. Same map as being run by awd Motorsports. If you have any question, please email me. I cannot support this isolated issue on the forum and request that it all correspondance is done via email.
