Hi to all. I am new to the Sacramento Area. I have a E60 chassis M5 and I don't see many out here. I noticed a lot more ppl want to race on the hwy than when I was in Canada but oh do I like the big nice roads out here.

I am new so I need to find a detailer that is good with Silverstone interior or light interior and I need a exterior detail as well, what are the good detailers around the area and what do they charge?

I also seen coding options on the forum and am interested in that as well so anyone that can point me to a direction or has the equipment to get it done safely would be great. I found someone in the Bay area on another forum but its quite far and don't have time to drive down till next month so it would be great to find someone local.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Wow a lot of input, sac town love. Ill call to see if they can fit me in, $350 and alignment is cheap. I dont know who Rex Moore is, I work in pharmaceutical business, (legit BTW). Thanks guys

e60 silverstone m5... hum.... by any chance you have an exhaust? i recalled one day i was driving on Truxel rd /west el camino ave in natomas and spotted a silverstone e60M, and it sounds GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! was that you?

I'm actually contemplating getting my e90 detailed as well (exterior only) in prep for a photo shoot. SyndicateGT (one of top members on this forum) recommended Zaino products for DIY detailing. But honestly, I don't feel like spending an entire weekend doing several waxing passes to my car. When I last researched detailing in Sac, it seemed the price range for exterior-only was $125-150 for independent shops.

depends on how detail you want the car to finish with. i know a shop has been done numerous show cars prior some big show, ie Wekfest....
they are local in sac. called Detail Maniac. if you are interested in, i can get you more detail on them.

Yah b thats me I suppose as I haven't seen any other M5s around and I do have an exhaust.

I won't lie, my back hurt for a week the last time I Zaino'd the car. It's such an involved process but was well worth it in the end. My car came out to a show room shine.

I would have had that installed for you already. Let me know if you need install tips. I been reading good things about those new VSRF downpipes, sounds like a good buy to me.

I spoke with Man at Detail Maniac, and he was open to the idea of a group discount. He also mentioned an interest in hosting a forum day where a bunch of us from e90post would show up and make a day out of getting our rides detailed. They charge a shop rate of $50/hr, and a typical external detail takes 3-4 hrs minimum. We didn't discuss what types of discounts he would be willing to offer. I guess that depends on how many of us are interested, and committing to a date.

sounds good. i don't think a discount is a problem since they work closely to my friend's bodyshop and im somewhat partial of a "sponsor" of the bodyshop events. but keep us update if there's a group buy going on, i'll talk to my buddy and we'll make it happens.
