Dealer retrofit iPod interface + iPod Touch gives issues
Hi,
I have two iPods - a 20Gb iPod that's 3 years old and a newly purchased iPod Touch 16GB. The 20GB one has been working fine in my BMW for ages now, but when I plug the iPod Touch into the car things start to act up... - Instead of putting the tracks in album (and track number) order, they are all shown in alphabetical order. For example, I have 13 REM albums and on the 20GB iPod they are all listed in one big folder, but are ordered in track number sequence for each individual album. The iPod Touch lists them in one big folder, but all tracks from all 13 albums are listed in alphabetical order with disregard for album order. - The 'skip back a track' button on the steering wheel stops working until I skip forward a track - then it will work until the next track comes on. Anyone else notice this, and is there a fix? It's the dealer retrofit iPod interface and my car is a non-iDrive E90 325i with Logic7. |
