I have both a 4.6L 2001 Bullitt and a 5.0L 2013 Mustang GT, my 335i could smoke my Bullitt. But anyone who knows how to drive a standard in a 2013 GT would whoop my 335i even with my Cobb AP3.

Unless you are talking higher MPH rolling runs, even then if the Mustang lost it would most likely be due to driver incompetence.

Congrats though OP, people who pull up on the street like that deserve to get whooped.

BMWs have never been the fastest cars for the money, tuned or not. Doesn't really bother me, but I don't race at all I guess.

I'm curious as to what opinions are of a FBO n55 vs a Stock 5.0? I think my FBO 335 would be able to walk the 5.0 if it was stock. But a couple bolt ons and the 5.0 will run high 11s in a 1/4.

The 5.0 actually got a slight jump both times while my turbos were spooling up (I didn't brake boost) and then i crawled up on him and at the end of the race, when we both lifted off, I was still moving away from him.

I have raced another stock 5.0 since i got my downpipes and it made a pretty big difference. I got that on video, but the run was a little stupid (not safe) so i'm not going to post it here so nobody gets offended. The vid is on my youtube channel though...

My mistake. I would say his car was a 2010-11 4.7l v8. Still, big block should be doing mid 13s like our car. Another funny thing is my car is auto and I didn't even do any revving or launch from neutral gear. I just. Step on gas when the light turn green and change gear at 7100 rpm before powerband goes down.

What do u think it would take to beat the mustang 5.0, Camero ss and dodge challenger srt ?

Your gains vary but it seems, on pump gas, you need at least tune only on (map 2-ish) to hang with the stock 5.0, Camaro SS and the old 6.1 Challenger.. my guess is you probably need to be closer to FBO to take on the 6.4 SRTs.

I am running cobb E30 map daily and there was a crazy ass mustang GT that I tried to keep up but wowwww no way to get close to him it was tuned for sure but I hated my car that day..

I know you guys aren't talking about them specifically but have you seen some of the single turbo upgrade members that are putting out out like 550+ hp? Think I've seen like one member with something like 700hp. There are videos of them racing modded vettes and sc mustangs in the n54 engine mod section.

With a "4.1L" engine, I guess the Mustang owner did an engine swap with a Ford Ranger V6 and rounded up from 4.0L to 4.1.
