E92 Tool Kit
Who can tell me what tools come standard in the factory tool kit in the trunk?
Maybe a pic of a complete tool kit? All mine has is the towing hook and my wheel lock nut, but there are place holders in the plastic moulding for more tools..

For me, a tow hook and a Philips/ flat plastic reversible manual screwdriver tucked into a fold over leather-like pouch with Velcro.
A bit laughable, considering the car was bought otherwise loaded to the teeth. |

I later found the missing tow hook under the driver's seat of my 335i. I have no idea how it got there between the factory and arrival at the dealership. Rick F. |

This thread prompted me to look at mine and I'm missing just about everything.
Sounds like I need to get a tow hook ASAP or how else does a car get on the flatbed without a running engine? |

Hey, a black handled screwdriver? All the factory tool kit screwdrivers I've ever seen have had grey plastic handles.

And for everyone's benefit, googled e90/92 tool kit, found this pic where all tools are present.
So to complete my toolkit I need a screwdriver, spanner, and I think that's a manual sunroof winder tool if I'm not mistaken?

And, I just keep a small tool box with me on the go.

And same here, I also keep a small aftermarket tool kit right next to the factory one. Besides, the tools are not just used for the car. Live in a high rise apartment these days, so have downsized my tool collection and keep most of them in the trunk now.
