Oil in Charge Pipe
Hey Guys.
I'm pretty new to the forums, but I've been reading posts for months. I have tried to search for this one, but I can't find an answer.... I have a e92 n54 with 60k and I bought it with a few aftermarket parts, aFe DCI and a coated aluminum charge pipe with an HKS BOV. I decided to take the charge pipe off and check out carbon build up on the TB. My plan was to clean the TB and MAF and just generally check it out. I removed the air intake and the charge pipe and noticed a few drops of oil coming from the TB. I looked inside the charge pipe and saw that there was some oil collected at the bottom of it. Can anyone explain why there would be engine oil there? Is this an indication of problems with the turbos? |

Probably blow by from the pcv system. Most people have the same issue and usually get a catch can.
