body shop name is high tech auto body in cambridge at 51 new st

went to go pick up my car today and found:
1) new headlight all scrathed up
2) sides of hood and under were not clear coated (person stated that bmw factory paints the side of hood and under hood flat white with no clear coat!
obviously you know they are bullshitting!!!!)
3) over spray on my inner fender liners when my fenders werent even painted cause there was no damage to the fenders!!!!
4) paint over spray on front pillars
5) chipped paint on bumper (corner of headlights)
6) MOST IMPORTANT THING ON THE CAR MY GOD DAMN VENTURE SHEILD ON HOOD AND BUMPER WERE FORGOT ABOUT!!!!!! " how the helll can u forget to put on a god damn venture sheild
7) swirl marks when they buffed my car
8) alot of excessive dust and polish compound found underneath hood
9) hood and driver side fender misaligned

this body shop is the worst man for a first time customer

i will update this thread when i go get my car back after they fixed everything that i bitched at the body shop manager about.

As others have said on here, avoid anything Herb Chambers related.

As far as body shops go, Dick's Autobody in Somerville is the place to go and has been recommended by many on here.

todays auto collision in chelsea has a lot of bmws and minis in for work.....but i cant vouch for them. i work nearby and see them all the time. theres a place in waltham that i had my honda done at. its called abko. they do the aston martin's and lotus' from the dealer next door. its expensive, so i would say only go there if insurance is covering it.

Don't think they do all of it. I was recommended All Wheels in Beverly a few years ago by Peabody. We've taken a few vehicles there since (couple of rear bumpers, just minor stuff mainly) and they've been great each time. They specialize in BMW and are friendly and easy to deal with too.

Here's their site if anyone is curious: http://www.allwheelscollisioncenter.com

And to the OP, hope they get everything fixed for you. Body shops are so hit and miss.

Peabody sent me to the Today's AutoBody in Malden after the "SPA" scratched my car while detailing it. After talking with the owner or manager there and seeing some of the detailing work they did on other cars there, all I will say is I would never let them touch my car.

Good for you. Body shop can't really detail cars anyways, coz they can't use any silicone containing products.

i would go back if they keep doing good buisness like that
