wow thanks again. did you go to taso for fender rolling? can i ask how much he charged?

the morr vs8 is $2350 for 4 rims alone? im asking this b/c if the oem zcp, fender rolling, tpms, tires, valves, hubs, and spacers add up close or above the morr then i will have to stick with them. depends.

are the oem zcp bbs forged do you know?

Yea but i think thats for the first batch. The rims are very nice and light wheels, i would get those. I didnt get my fenders rolled yet, im gonna get it rolled when i take the car to the body shop.

The VS8 GB has a special on the whole setup with tires and shyt, its a good deal because UED is supplying the tires at a great price and are doing the TPMS and road force balancing so all u gotta do it mount them on ur car when u get them. I think thats great.

question. if i put the 10mm spacer at the front and based on the pic below, the red being the new placement of the tire, if i hit a bump or hole and my tire pushes up wouldn't it hit my fender b/c the tire is pushed out right under it?

u gotta remember though that the M3 front wheels have an offset of ~45 i think, so its already tucked in more than it should. The spacer will only push it out to where it "should" be and not further out where it would damage the fender. Plus when going straight and hitting bumps the suspension is designed to take the tire inside the fender well just like anyother car so it doesnt hit the fender.

Just out of curiosity...how hard would it be to contact BBS and have them make a bunch of those ZCP wheels with the right offset for the front?
They wouldn't even have to mess with the rears, just make a buch of 19x8.5 30-35ET fronts?

wow i never thought of that. if they want like 10 people im sure i can get that too. question is would i need to speak to somebody high in bbs to make sort of thing happen?

also acuracy sorry im mad noob right now on the wheel offset and whole wheel thing. when you say not tucked in anymore and it sit where it should what do you mean? will the tires be right under the fender flap near the outside (the edge)?

The correct front offset for a E92 is anywhere from 30-35. Search a few members and u'll see what i mean. Check out user SNIZ, i know he has CSL reps and i think 30 all around, check it out and see how his sits.

Im pretty sure bbs will want alot more than 10 people, i highly doubt they will remake a factory wheel in a different offset, but it doesnt hurt to try.

my lucky day as sniz posted a detail thread lol. i like how the car sits. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...39#post2295339

if you feel the front fenderwell, where it folds in, i measured 10mm and the tire still should not be under or even close to that fold. here is a picture for illustration. so even with a 10mm spacer, i was worried that the tire would touch the fold but measuring it, it doesn't and i still have a bit space left.

now for the spacers after doing much research im going h&r but they have so many on their site (hrsprings.com). which do you recommend and do i need hubcentric?

as for the bbs making e92 specific im going to call them later today and see whats up. i highly doubt they will because i believe it will degrade the m3. but if i can get even 20 people i believe that will be easy for all us oem ocd freaks

yup its gonna sit good with the spacer. Just get a good hubcentric spacer and you'll be good to go.

Also when u call BBS can u find out if they still have any Champ editions LMs around

It just seeems that the DRS comes with the bolts already included and the DR doesnt.

If memory serves me right, the ZCP offsets were +47 front, and +27 rear. As stated previously, the ZCP and CSL shared the same rears....even the parts number are the same. You will MOST likely rub in the rear. As Acuracy mentioned, you will need to roll and put in neg camber.

I had a ZCP M3, and LOVED the wheels. So much so, that I am now running CSL reps on my E92. If you're really bent on OEM, then this set up is possible. Some things to consider tho...

1 - you'll pay double for ZCPs
2 - looks are fairly similar
3 - weight is close to the same. Reps prob have ~1-2 lbs more on each corner.
4 - you'll need to roll and put in neg camber for the rears.
5 - you'll want (or even need) to run spacers in the front

Basically, you're gonna pay more money, do some work for the rears, and run spacers in the front (I personally don't like using spacers, even more so in the front). Not to mention more tire wear in the rears with the neg camber. Personally, seems like a lot of trade offs to run OEM ZCP. Of course, at least the wheels will have OEM quality/finish . This is possible, but just keep in mind what you'll need to go through to make it work.

BTW...I'm no lawyer, but I doubt BBS will make the fronts. For some reason, I would think that the mold and finish would be exclusive to BMW as their client.

Good luck either way. The ZCPs are def a great wheel.

^ you are on m3forum.net too no? i remember seeing your avatar. anyhow used zcp are really cheap $1k-3k at the highest for rims alone. most likely i can get for $1k-2k range for rims alone. after that 10mm spacers are needed at the front. after doing much research on here, m3forum, and e46fanatics many m3 people using front spacers for bbk clearence and some even track so i am confident it is safe to go.

for the rears i do need fender rolling but acurary mentioned that the neg camber is not needed with my stock sport suspension. its if i were to lower i would need a -2 camber at the rears. the price between the reps and oem zcp setup is a bit different. only difference is $750 for the oem pricing and spacers i need at the front. other then that buy tpms and tires and price equals out.

the fender rolling at taso acuracy btw is anywhere from $100-$150 per side and takes no more then 2-3 hours at the max.

oem zcp are tpms compatible right? i should have asked this first lol.

Yeah, that's me on M3F . You make some good points. I thought you were thinking of getting new wheels from Tischer, when I was thinking of pricing. Yeah, you might be safe without camber at stock height, but I have a feeling that you'll eventually lower the car.

Im not sure if they are TPMS compatible, check with the guys from M3forums for that. With stock suspension u should be good with stock camber, i seen guys run stock camber on the forum with that kind of offset.

can the rear oem zcp rim be powdercoated safely? so many ideas and yet i am crossing them off one by one

Options:
1. oem zcp w/ 10mm spacer front: still wanting to do it but it's just the damn front spacer getting to me.
2. gunmetal csl: my final and last resort i guess if all else fails.
3. exclusive csl front and oem zcp rear both powdercoated/painted gunmetal (imo it will look really good).
4. morr vs7 (standard silver, never was a big fan...)
5. morr vs8 (was going to plan on buying used but the production for first batch is july or something like that way to far to start seeing used)
6. keep waiting for whatever is in the future ()

One thing to consider is possibly shaving the rear hub to make an ET30 or so offset.
