Dear fellow bavarians,

I'm new here, Currently i am thinking of changing my E60 525i M-Sport to a E92 335i M-Sport. I am using a set of Leon Hadritt Bugel Black/Polish ( F 245/35 9j +7 , R 275/30 10j +7 ) the dish is rather deep. Would like to transfer it to the new E92.

Any advise on the tire package? is the offset too aggressive? Thank you guys.

the offset is way too aggressive. I'm running 20x9 ET+32 front and 20x10.5 ET+38 rear with 245/30 and 285/25. Fenders are rolled and the camber on the rear is -2° to make them fit.

Leon Hardiritt has some sick wheels, but those are not. Offsets are a little too low.

Using ya setup on the offset calculator, this is the diffrence:

FRONT : 19mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 31mm

REAR : 37mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 25mm

Do you think having the fender changed to E92 M3's will help ? and also a smaller tire at the back 265/30 maybe with some tweaking in camber too ? It is a really pair of nice rims, sad to see it on another car !

Love ya ride, how is the eisenmann quad doing? love those CF kidneys, i'm getting a white one too..

I think you did it wrong..
Front: 14mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 40mm
Rear: 11mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 49mm

hrmmm i just did it again , Zurcher's set up and Mine, the Front was wrong, instead of 31mm , its 25mm extra outer.

F: 245/35 9j +7 vs 245/30 9j +32
25mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 25mm

R: 275/30 10j +7 vs 285/25 10.5j +38
37mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 25mm

Oh, I didn't know you were basing it off his setup. My numbers are vs. stock wheel specs.

You'll be out an extra inch compared to his setup. It's doable with a good stretch.

Zurcher : haha could you record the sound of it, from the outside and inside the cabin of the car ?

Anyone knows if too much of rubbing, besides tire damage, will it damage the other parts?

might be doable on the rear with an extreme stretch and a really negative camber but impossible to make the fronts fit... except you only want to drive straight on.

Note that a smaller offset will need more space in the wheel well when steering completely to the left or right because the outer wheel edge is farther from the pivotal point and therefore it has a bigger pivoting radius.
