Pic Request: ST Coilovers Maxed Out
As title says, anyone have pics of these maxed out? Collars in, collars out...either/or. Both? On 18s, 19s.
If you don't have yours maxed out but think you're pretty damn low-post up anyway! Post up your pics with specs please Thanks! Last edited by gtabfknkdnme; 06-07-2013 at 05:08 AM.. |

My rears are maxxed out but front still has more threads left to go lower but I don't want to since the front is low enough. But here's mines on 19's and sorry for the bad picture. Last edited by Delusive; 06-06-2013 at 12:37 AM.. |

OP what look are you trying to go for? ST coilovers arent designed to go that low, but it is definitely an upgrade from stock.
One of my buddies has ST and his rear even when maxed out was still higher than my stock sport ride height (even though I have been told my stock sat lower than others) Regardless, maybe you should look into other companies such as BC as well. |

There's mine. I'm on 19" and max'd out last time I checked. I think. haha Apologies for the bad pic, but it's the only one I could find on the computer I'm on. The ride is significantly stiffer compared to what I had before: Stock suspension with 16"RFT's I believe...? So, I was expecting the ride to be harsher in a way. For my taste, it is the perfect height. It isn't so low that I am scraping everywhere, although I do scrape sometimes on steep driveway entrances. For the price, I think I made a good choice on ST V1's, but it also depends on your taste, what you're looking to achieve, etc, etc...

ST Coilovers are great and it's max low is low enough for daily driving, any lower it wouldn't even be worth driving. Thanks No problem, the ride comfort will depend how low you go and your tire sizes as well. My tires are low profile, I have a little stretch on them so that kills some of my ride quality. |

Personally, I am on kw v1s and they are a great balance of comfort/performance/looks. Although sometimes I wished they went lower. I'm cray, but i guess "i'm about that life" |

I have the STs on my e90 and although I am happy with the ride, I am not 100% happy with the height. The fronts can be slammed to the ground, but I still have maybe 2 finger gap in the rear and it looks pretty dumb with all that rake. I had to raise the front up to accommodate the difference, which I didnt care because I didnt want the slammed looked, I just wish I could get the rear down another .5-1"
I was starting to think maybe my shop installed them wrong, but I've read other reviews complaining about the rear also.

I already showed my coils maxxed out in the rear but my fronts can go lower and not worth adjusting the fronts to the max just to show you how low they can go unless you wanna pay me $160 for alignment then I will |

And if u lower the front more you don't need an alignment. It's just spinning a collar up and down. Which does nothing to your alignment. But yeah. If its not there already, def dont worry about it |

But if I did go to the max my front bumper would be close to the ground, if you want to go that low than I suggest BC Racing Coilovers. I plan to get them sooner or later. |
