The dealer took quite a hit for me to help me get out of my Tundra, which had plummeted in value over the last 8 months, so I attribute this price to that. Original sticker was over 50k(came with the car), and they were listing for 21.9k.
i didnt know base e90 328s with navi went for over 50k new back in 07. I though they were like 35-40k

I just went out to check, you are right. Thanks for the correction, I edited the old post to reflect it Either way, I think I got quite a deal on the car.

125k or how many years for the extended warranty? That makes a big difference. If it's like 5-6 years from your purchase or 125k that changes things.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but....no. Factory bumper to bumper and scheduled maint. is 4 yrs/50K, whichever occurs first. Unless your 2007 sat on a dealer lot unsold until sometime in 2009, the factory cover is up.

How did you buy a $30,000 used car and not have a clear picture of what warranty it included?

Congrats but 30k on a 2007? Yikes. I don't know about Virginia but in Socal you could of EASILY gotten a 2010 with the same amount of miles for the same price.

Too high, esp for South Florida. That is a $18.5k car private sale.

Obviously I got a pretty good deal and that won't happen every time but 2010s are attainable all day CPO from about $29K and on up for the 2011s and newer (in the case of coupes). I get that a typical e92 always costs about $1-2K more than the comparable sedan but $27K for a 2007 is all the money and then some.
Oh well, it is bought now and nothing can be done about price so enjoy the hell out of it. In the end, if it was a color combo you like and optioned up like you want it might be worth it to you. From my years in the car business I know that those customers that get "ripped off" are usually the happiest with their cars. It was always the customers that you lost money on and bent over backward to make the deal with that ended up burning you on customer satisfaction scores.
That is a great deal! As it is now 2013, I have moved up my target model year from 09 to 10.. hopefully I could pull of a low mileage 11 for a similar price range you scored for an E90 335..

Are there really anymore helpful outlets out there other than Cars.com & AutoTrader.. I feel like Carmax never has any Sport BMWs..and Craigslist i'd rather not deal with.

Can't you return it? For the money travel to SoCal get the car everyone's talking about and ship it back to you or drive back. Do it OP you'll beat yourself up less later.

$27k isn't "that" bad for the car...but it's pretty high.

I would have sold you my 2009 with 30k miles for $29-30k. I'm actually toying with the idea of selling.

Either way...just ignore all this shit and enjoy the car. No one is paying for it except you so just be happy!

The sad part is that for less then 30k you could have had both BMW bumper to bumper warranty with free maintaince (free brakes, rotors, oil changes, etc....would save you another $1-1.5k) and BMW CPO warranty which both include free rental (mostly a nice BMW car). I would be real careful with 3rd party warranties, many of them are scam. Which one do you have? Everytime I read about them and I did have 3rd party warranty myself too, it just make me crazy that such a scam even allowed in USA
