Should a smog @ BMW cost ~$200?

I failed my 2nd state ref with a completely stock car.

It won't hold speed with 50% load I am told, which is why it's not passing.

I really don't know what I'm gonna do if BMW can't figure it out.

Does that sound right for a smog though???

Did you flash it back to stock? I remember a post a while back you said you had the Alpina flash.

Are you able to replicate what they say the problem is on the street or does it only have the problem on their dyno?

I'm not able to because they set the 'load' to 50% on the dyno (that's what he told me, I don't know anything about it). My buddy suggested it might be an issue form manufacture, it's an 09 so it's never been smogged before

The emissions warranty is something like 4-6 years I think. wouldn't that apply in some way?
