Country: Greece Automatic transmission (yes/no): no I-Drive (yes/no): no Active Steering (yes/no): no Comfort Access (yes/no): no Production Date: Dec 05 I m having ticking noise coming from the passenger area, propably from the dashboard whenever i drive the car over a bump or a pothole. I called the dealer and told me it is most likely from the airbag. I will call him again to arrange inspection. Any help would be most helpful ! |

Model: 325xi US spec
Country: Germany Auto transmission (yes/no): yes I-Drive (yes/no): no Active steering (yes/no): yes Production date: Sept 05 Hello everyone! My first post since trading my 2003 Subaru WRX for an '06 325xi. I've owned both Subaru's and a 1989 BMW 325ix in the past. My 2006 325xi is now experiencing a vibration in the steering wheel since I reached 2,3xx miles. My alignment is perfect and it seems to be occuring at speeds of 50mph+. It's not a severe vibration, but by all means a vehicle of this calibre should not be vibrating with such low mileage at 70 mph. I'm about to contact my dealer, but I fear the normal "Everything is fine" diagnosis... The vibration is annoying and if I only knew it was only the run flats I'd be happy. If no solution is found I'm considering Mercedes or Lexus.. god forbid! BMW please help!! |

320d E90 ES
Model: 320d ES
Country:United Kingdom Automatic transmission (yes/no):No I-Drive (yes/no):No Active Steering (yes/no):Yes Comfort Access (yes/no):No Problem description:Where do I start, car was a year old on 24th March 2006. Wind noise from air vents, wipers and side windows. BMW told me this was in the design and could not be rectified. To date 2 engine management systems, car kept cutting out, great fun especially on the motorway at high speed or when pulling out into moving traffic. New drivers seat Suspension had to be realigned on delivery Car pulls to right this is a continual problem that BMW cannot fix, in the UK we drive on the left so this pulls me into on coming traffic Does not handle well when taking left hand corners (ok with right hand corners ?) Rear door trim has come away from body and had to be replaced Problem shutting rear doors (have to be slammed) Problem shutting boot (has to be slammed) Third gear has started to crunch when selected In the first three months, BMW had the vehicle for 5 weeks for repairs. Apart from that it is the Ultimate Driving Machine (NOT!) |

Hi,
Hello everyone, greetings from PORTUGAL. My E90 is almost 10 months anda I had some problems with it. First, my seatbelt used to do a metalic noise that turned insuportable after a few km. Proble solved by switching all the belt-system. Second, the sensor for passanger does not work. I am 125 Kg and the sensor of the passenger seat does detect my presens. Do you think it may cause a malfunction of the airbag, even if the the belt is putted on? Nothing else. (Yet)?? |

Eacht time the dealer fixed it and it keeps coming back. (Runflats maybe?) Something like a "knick" while turning your steering wheel to the left/right. I only happens when your turning your steering wheel a whole turn left/right while standing still. It has no sound but feels strange ..... it's a f*cking brand new car !! |

Model:325xiT
Country:USA Automatic transmission : No I-Drive : No Active Steering : No Comfort Access : Yes Well I have waited 7 months for my car, after the first one was unrepairable due to an unknown electrical defect. To many issues to mention here, link below for the whole story. Bottom line, 7 months is to long, the excitment has pretty much worn off. I am supposed to pick it up this week, hopefully, and all I feel is "whatever". If this new one has issues I will be moving on to an Audi S4 Avant. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=lemon

Country:USA Automatic transmission (yes/no): yes I-Drive (yes/no):no Active Steering (yes/no):no Comfort Access (yes/no):? So this is my wife car I have a E46 (roots from 2 E30s) Problem: 1. The remote will not open the trunk. once in a while it will open by pressing the trunk release on the remote, but 9/10 times it doesn't open I first try by pressing it button on the remote (Key) then I try it after unlocking the doors still nothing 2. When parking the car (auto trans) and going from drive to park there is a loud click 3. The main map light assembly in front is loose on the drivers side of the device. 4. Is there a flash I can get to have the Angel eyes come on when the car is started, so they stay on all the time?? Thanks looking forward to both getting info and contibuting info to this forum Been on E46fanatics.com for awhile :rocks: |

Right,... recognise much of the same problems stated above but here is my list:
Model: E91 320d Country: Netherlands Automatic transmission (yes/no): no I-Drive (yes/no):yes Active Steering (yes/no):no Bought new: Sept 2005 1) After 10km i returned as steering wheel vibrated too much around 100km/h all 4 run flat tyres where replaced, problem solved 2) Trunk door did not fall into lock properly lock was replaced, problem solved 3) Rattling sound from dashboard while driving over small dents Initially resolved after replacing the aircon unit, later reappeared....to date still an issue  4) Door handles kept getting stuck after opening all 4 replaced by dealer, problem solved 5) Idrive kept going into auto-shutdown while driving software updated, problem solved 6) After approx one year, front suspension cracking noises suspension seals found to be leaking, replaced and problem solved 7) Last two months, noticed the "Famous" condensation in my Xenon headlights covers around 15% of the headlight, but will keep monitoring it ... to date all repairs have been done under warrenty and must admit my dealer has been great always taking the issues seriously..... The problem is that i don't enjoy at all going back to my dealer with new little problems, i have the feeling they already look afraid when i enter the building but on the other hand the problems aren't normal either and need to be sorted. I had a brand new E46 for two years before exchanging it for the E91 with which i never had ANY problem what so ever.... i guess the E46 had been debugged after a few years and the E91 is still undergoing its tweaks and hitches... Overall i am still very satisfied with the drive! It is still far better than the A4 Avant or the Merc.
