what do you usually eat?

there was a favorite foods thread in the subforum, but i'm more interested in typical meals, and why?

me: i cycle through flavors, lately it's been a lot of sandwiches and salads. usually from the supermarket deli or drive thru window (jack's, carl's...). why? it's cheap enough, easy, fairly healthy, and it all becomes shit in about 20 hrs anyway. i'm decent on the grill too but off that for now.

for most of my life i was big on diner/cafe level food: cheap chinese, sizzler's, hooters etc. but through the years as i've become notorious, it's usually just not worth the effort.

oh, can't forget the jug of naked in the fridge, that stuff's money!

don't know, but unless they're using fake fruit, it's a staple in my fridge.

If I could I would eat Thai food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything those people eat is absolutely amazing.

I pretty much eat anything at any time of the day....

last night after watching 5 straight episodes of Breaking Bad, my wife made biscuits and gravy - it was 12:20am

#fatpeopleproblems

yeah, we weren't Breaking Bad fans, but since it's on Netflix, we started watching it.

we just finished the episode where the black dude in glasses calmly put his hazmat gear on and sliced the dude's throat that thought he could cook as good as Walter.

Some form of steak or Vietnamese food most of the time. Occasionally I'll have Korean as well. I usually just cook my own food.

- Heroes (hot pastrami with Swiss, Italian, Philly cheese even though they're crap in NY).
- Cajun chicken pasta. I made it one night to show my wife up and succeeded. Haven't even had it done as well as mine in restaurants. Fuck.
- Pepper steak - homemade; usually with sirloin.
- Pulled pork.
- Chicken enchiladas - great recipe snagged off Emeril Live about 15 years ago.
- Burgers, ribs, steaks off the grill during summer.
- Pasta with bolognaise sauce.

What's really amusing is the dogs lying on the kitchen floor spectating as food is prepared.

I work 7 days a week so I'll eat anything and everything my wife decides to drop off for me. Yesterday she brought me vietnamese pork chop with rice. Today she made me a handful of bacon, 3 eggs scrambled and 4 slices of toast before coming into work. I haven't decided what I want for supper yet. When I woke up this morning i wanted an italian sub from the Sheetz gas station.

Same. Basically my staple food but I mix it up at dinner for the gf.

Add steak, tuna, apples, spinach, Greek yogurt, almonds and almond butter, and you've basically got my routine weekly ingredients.

*and dem sweet potatoes
