Anyone interested in a GB for KSport Coilovers

A Vendor on another car forum I belong is having a Group Buy on K Sport Coilovers, I pm'd them to see if I could get them at a GB rate for a BMW, is anyone else interested if they can? This is the info:

Kontrol Pro Damper System
Ksport Kontrol Pro Fully Adjustable Coilover Kits provide the ultimate in suspension technology for your street or track car. 36 levels of dampening adjustment allow you to fine tune the ride to your handling and comfort needs. The dampening adjusts compression and rebound simultaneously for ease of adjustment. Pillow ball top mounts in the front and rear on some applications allow you to maintain vehicle manufacturer suspension geometry design. The pillow ball top mounts also allow you a more direct feel for solid driver response. Camber adjustability is included on pillow ball top mounts that allow it for the ability to adjust camber from the actual coilover, instead of a separate camber kit.

KEY FEATURES

*36 levels of adjustable dampening
*Made from high quality 6061 aluminum with T6 for increased hardness
*Compression/Rebound adjustable
*Adjustable spring perch for height adjustment
*Adjustable body allowing maximum suspension travel
*Pillowball top mount with adjustable camber (not available for some models)
*Monotube high pressure design reduces oil leakage
*Electroplated body for protection from corrosion and rust
*One year limited warranty

Pricing is VERY aggresive and will be based on quantity ordered over all of the sites we sponsor which includes several markets. There will be TWO pricing levels, one for 1-15 sets ordered and one for >16 sets ordered.

PM me for pricing!!!!

Just so everyone is aware, as always, since this is a group buys we will take a 50% deposit up front to hold your spot. Once we hit our goal we will charge the remaining amount of money and put the order in with K-Sport. From there delivery can take 4 weeks to get to our door. This is due to the large volume of orders we are putting in with them.

Also, heard that people dont really like the KSport because of the short warranty (1 year) and that they generally crap out after a year.

I dont know from experience, just by what I've been readin on them.

If you could get some decent prices on some KW's I'd be all for it and I'm sure theres a bunch of others too

I heard the H&R's arent stainless, but galvanized steel like the ST's and for us Northeast guys w/ the salty winters, they'll rust, or have a higher tendency to rust..

Umm, really depends on what your mods are. I dont think any dealer will "look the other way" with an issue car that has a piggyback or reflashed ecu. As far as other mods, as long as they're not causing the problem you should be alright. Come check out the showroom sometime

I hear ya man I was just asking in general because some dealerships see a modded car and give you shit from jump. I'll definately have to swing down and check the place out. Shooting you a PM with what I'm looking into..

K sports are utter garbage. Id rather get H+R cups instead.

Ksports have had no long term use, because they all blow out in 6 months...and their quality leaves a lot to be desired...I came from the JDM scene, and they were all over the place cuse they were cheap ass.

Usually GBs don't work out.

Honestly, why would I pay somebody that just joined the forum 50% down first, without knowing where my money is going? Then wait until the GB fills up and then charge me for the other 50%? And then I'll have to wait another month or so to get my coilovers? I don't like funding other people's business. This will mean that you or the company that you're dealing with will have my money for over a month and I'll have nothing to show for it?

No thanks!

Just my $.02.

the name of the business is www.jnztuning.com, feel free to check out their website. I do not work for them or make any money from it. I saw that they were having a group buy on KSport coilovers and so I figured I would see if we could get any type of discount rate, that's all.

I spoke with them this morning, they are able to get pricing on KW's if anyone is interested, you can call and talk to Chris. (215) 997-6850

I know that there are a few other e90 people on here from the dsm/tuner community that can vouch for them other then me.

That is the group buy price, I don't think there is a minimum because they're also including other forums in the GB.

I could be wrong, but:
Ksport retail price is 1450
GB price is 850
a savings of $600
KW Variant 2 retail Price is 2000
GB price is 1450
a savings of $550

If you're interested in either you can call or email Chris directly, you don't have to go through me.

The vendors on this forum, have better prices. And they're not even GBs.

I've checked around.
