Need help. Seriously debating, selling/parting my car.
Im torn right now. I'm fed up with my car. I'm about to get it running again. but can justify spending anymore money.
Since september this is what i have done to to my car. - RB Turbos, all hardware and lines. (because Stocks blew. -6 injectors -6 plugs -6coils -CPS sensor -new Vanos selionids -Clean intake valves - RB PCV upgrade -Valve cover gasket -T-stat -Water pump - Transmission flush and New sealing sleeve and filter pan. -Diff flush - Oil filter housing Gasket, and oil cooler gasket and gaskets for the lines going to the cooler. -walboro LPFP all fluids changed. my mods are cobb, G5, VRSF downpipwes, BT FMIC, CPE/TiaL BOV, Rear 5gal AEM methtank with FSB, Cm14. not counting exterior mods i might be parting those as well. Then took the car for a week for a week was doing highway pulls snaped an axel. replaced it. then started putting money aside for an LSD. as most of you know i ended up Blowing my transmission. i honestly was not surprised saw it coming. so the LSD money went to my trans and had to save up more to get LEVEL 10 parts. shipped my VB to level 10 still haven't shipped TQ converter. already bought a transmission to go in the car. but I'm debating just parting the car out the car, putting the trans in it and putting the upgraded valve body getting a Remanufactured stock TQ converter for $200. instead shipping to level 10 for $650 for a rebuild. im also needing an ABS pump. and i would also need to get it coded, as that is the one thing i don't know how to do CODE. if i was to keep the car (i have done all the labor myself.) then after the trans is done i also need to get an ABS pump, LSD, Diff lock down, Subframe bushings, better suspension, better control arms, ECT. i have enough to get the upgraded tourqe converter and LSD right now. but i just don't want to spend anymore. I'm just sick of spending money id rather invest into something.. i already have someone to buy my RBs that had just got his stocks replaced under warranty. so whoever gets my car next gets all the new stuff along with new stock turbos and an upgraded valve body. and possibly the Alpinia flash if i can get to it. i can easily get the parts sold. if i was to sell the car i was gonna get my buddies BMW S1000rr,and a f150 call it a day. guys I'm just venting. don't know if i should keep or sell the car. this car has been a nightmare and a huge Learning curve. As for the car, with all the mods you're showing you must've been developing over 500 HP at the crank.
Takes big bucks to make things last at those power and torque levels.

As much as I love s1000rr's... Idk... You already have a bunch of parts in your car. Won't be worth it to part it out.
As far as your car breaking down all of the time- Lol no offense but I've seen your youtube videos and the way you drive that car. Plus the buttload of aftermarket parts don't help. So I'm honestly not surprised.

i know. i seemed worth it at the time. hopeing my car would run and hold up and ill just upgrade the rearend as i go. but it been nothing but down time I'm a student and don't have time to work on my car 24/7. rule of thumb don't mod ur daily. I've saved an A$$ load of money doing all the labor my self but still parts aren't cheap.

Since September.....? Holy s***... And you're still modding it man? Your car sounds amazing with all you've done and I know it would be tough parting with it but I don't see it being worth all those repairs. Move onto something else. I'm not a fan of bikes though..

Okay, as long as you know what to expect with that bike....
For the record--for those of us who don't know much about bikes: The S1000RR is pretty comparable to a Bugatti Veyron in acceleration figures. 0-60 ~2 seconds, quarter in the mid- to high 9s. Top speed over 180 mph. All without seatbelts, airbags...or crumple zones.

If you're getting a bike for the street though, an S1000 is just too much. You really can't use it. I have a Z1000 (2010) and that thing is way too much for the street. The S1000 is a whole 'nother league above it.

S1000rr you are talking about a machine that will be doing 150 by the time you are on the freeway from an onramp, get it, you'll never look back at cars again, unless it rains or snows.

lol That bike is so much overkill for the street.
It will break every single speed limit in the United States---in first gear.

Yup, that'll do it. That's Bugatti Veyron power numbers.

The bike/ truck combo is pretty good. Alot less repairs and you gain utility with the truck. I had a truck and really miss just throwing stuff in the bed. I didn't like parking lots though

Part out and sell. Honestly, I think that the insane amount of mods and your driving habits do have a part in your reliability issues. I wouldn't keep it. Then again I'm not a single 19 year old guy with 100% disposable income (assuming you are). Lol
