Help Checking Coolant on 325i.

Ive parked my car in the garage for the last three days. I just want to check the fluid.

Anyway, open the coolant resevoir and noticed it is low. By low I meant the dip stick just equal to the neck and not "pop" up like it stated. Am I supposed to warm up the engine and check. Also warm it up and let it cool down, then open the car?

I thought it was low by park the car.

The engine must be cold when you check

Just slowly add a bit of water and the dip stick will start floating to the top.

When its full, just close the cap again
make shure it clicks closed at the end and the arrows line up to show its closed

Now you are done
