Just got my 135i - and V3 Procede! And need help
Hi all. I am here in Atlanta. I *JUST* got a 135i 6-speed. I have a 335i coupe with the Vishnu Procede installed. I just bought the V3 upgrade so I can use it on my 135i (with the doomsday map).
I have a big favour to ask - has anyone local here installed or removed a Vishnu Procede on a 135i or 335i before? I really need a helping hand from someone more experienced than me this Thursday or Friday, if possible. The Procede is on my 335i but I want to take it off and install it on the 135i with the V3 kit. Shiv himself installed it on my 335i last time, so I didn't learn anything. I want to work on it and help too, so I can learn this time. -Tom ps. if anyone takes it up - I can offer you a ride in either or both cars and/or a ride in my Ferrari after the install! And beers are on me too! |

Hey Tom, have you taken your car into service since the proCede install? I'm curious to know of the Doomsday map and its reliability.

Haha. Are you kidding? 110% reliable. It is worlds better than v1.47 which I had on my 335i. Search my other recent posts. The only thing wrong with my car now is the brakes, from driving and stopping too fast.

my bad. I meant reliability in terms of invisibility. Referring to taking your car in for service and V3 showing or not showing.

I think Shiv should make a less powerful default / low-boost map. Then service would not be able to tell (and it would be more fun to switch to the high boost). The maps come together as a pair. I used the v3 doomsday map, and the low boost is running 10-11 psi, and the high boost is running 12 psi. Not much difference. If there was a more dialed back default version, then they wouldn't know when they drove it. It would even be cool to have a high MPG map default map, these days! |
