Dude seriously as an asian(as am I so don't take offence....)your asking for too many ideas. As people have said...look at, what you have to offer,what can you do? Even as an investor,people wouldn't just take you on for your money. Speak to financial advisors,there are ppl here who can help you out(don't forget my commission for my recommendation(true Asian style) you know who you are!)

Look at national businesses that offer franchises,many fields.

I had the "50p" idea once. However, once I had researched products through contacts and various other resources - I was looking at a average return of about 8-12p per item. You don't need to be business savvy know the massive pitfalls that lay ahead. To get something like that working, you need town Center footfall. To get town Center footfall you're talking a minim of £40,000 a year for rent/rates (average sized town) min £100,000 a year for large town that has big brands.

You would have to turn over a minimum of 30,000 items a month to just cover your rent/rates. 60,000 items for everything else and to break even on £40k a year rent/rates.

Go the opposite way and open a '50p' shop in a more affordable location and you suffer from volume of both footfall and sales.
