Glad you are happy with your purchase, amazing car none the less, at least there is still room for improvement in the future

Not true at all. The Cayman is in many respects better than the 911. The cayman does not have to rely on a back engine design. The reason why an LSD is not available on the Cayman is because with it the Cayman S would run with the base 911. They don't want the younger brother upsetting the flagship. Sure dollar for dollar anyone would take a 911, but bang for the buck a Cayman is the much better deal.

I would rather own a Cayman than a 911, no question.

I do drive a lot of cars... sometimes cars that aren't even on the market yet. Sorry to tell you that, but that's just what I know about this gen of Cayman. I have drivin it for many miles and it was not worth the money imo. The new one however is a totally different game. Very well made, super high quality and amazing handling. Better than the 991 Carrera S even. I linked some GT3 RS 4.0 videos that I made, which I would say is the best car Porsche has ever made.

Vids don't play, I'll take your word for it. I have tracked MANY vehicles and began road racing at 16....I'm now 34....so I do know a thing or two about Racing ....Yes the GT3 RS 4.0 is an amazing car.....but showing a video of it on a highway is utterly pointless and does not showcase anything about what the car was designed to do. PS its also nowhere close to a Grand Am car or even a Cup car which is extremely forgiving....

What? They should work. Well I know it doesn't proof it's well handling, but there is nothing to proof about that. I drove it in Hockenheim as well but only on the short circuit and not long cause it wasn't on a public day. I don't want to compare the Cayman to the GT3 RS 4.0, I am just saying that I wouldn't have traded the 335i with a Cayman. But you might as well find out for yourself. I still wish you best of luck with it though.

Road racing? Cool. I haven't made that become a reality yet. Started karting when I was 8 but then had to stop cause I moved to the States when I was 16 and didn't have enough time to continue. Someday... I have driven the GT3 RSR in racing simulations and I gotta agree, it seems like a VERY forgiving car.

WTF. He drove it and made his decision. Why did you even post in this thread?

What are you trying to prove here? If anything it sounds like you're jealous.

The OP is proud of his purchase yet you feel compelled to post in here with negative comment about his car.

Jesus guys. Why does everyone get so offended? I am neither jealous nor am I trying to prove anything. Chill guys. I am just saying that I think it was a mistake going from a 335 to a Cayman. I do test a lot of cars and I am wrote my post based on my experience with many different cars, including the cars we are talking about here. Didn't know I can't speak out my opinion in a forum. Most of you haven't probably driven any kind of Porsche and tell me I am the idiot that's criticizing his buying decision. You guys are hypocrites.
And me jealous? For what? A car that I just said is not that great? Sorry guys but you seem to be missing the point. Besides, I told the OP good luck with his car and I hope that he can enjoy it.

Your approach was a little arrogant.
