m tech BMW install

SO I just sold my old car and am getting ready to buy a 2008 328i sedan and I asked BMW how much would it cost to add the m tech kit to the vehicle when I buy it. They quoted my $3600 to do a full install. I belive I saw a thead that said it was only 1400 to install, so why did I get this expensive quote? any hints or help? I also would like to go through BMW so I can add it to the price and finance it instead of out of my pocket. thanks!

Parts + paint + labor is DEFINITELY going to be more than $1400. Where did you see that?

You can buy the M-Tech kit for $1400 at Tischer but that does not include painting or installation.

This is roughly what I remembered. I believe that is for both the front and rear spoiler. Tischer sells the front and rear separately.
