I've already done the V8 AMG thing.. but it was a coupe. I think that sound of a flat 6 + PSE with roof down will be MUSIC

Sounds good Peter........almost as good as an air cooled one...

One thing I'm finding is that they can be frustrating in traffic - not because they are hard to drive, but because I'm finding I want to give it some beans (and hear the music) all the time.

I must admit, I had considered it - but I am not sure getting a Porsche that IMO isn't really a Porsche (as in a proper rear/mid engined 2 seater sports car) floats my boat. Bit like the big 4wd one - yes it has a Porsche badge but doesn't really promote what the brand is famous for and best at!

Nice one Peter! Not a porker fan myself, but that is indeed a very nice one.

Enjoy!

I pick it up tomorrow, unless the weather gets in the way!

Train to Birmingham from Lancs, followed by a careful drive up the M6(toll) and M6. I am mildly excited

Just got it home...

What a car, why would anyone want to switch off the Switchable Sports Exhaust! A steady drive up the M42/M6(toll) and M6 and all the hard work of the valeters has been undone!
