Wink C-clip replacement

Has anyone try these spring clip? any review? can this be replacement for the OEM c-clip on the throttle body and charge pipe?

I will be switching Riss Racing charge pipe to ER CP, however, don't have the original c-clip no more, and dealership said the c-clip doesn't sell separately and require to buy a new air filter intake system. And not able to find a used one.....

Doesn't sound like you have much choice. It looks nice. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

This is really your only choice. I never knew this existed. I bought a used CP just to get the C Clip.

Shoot...it's close enough from what I can tell from the pictures, and if not, I am sure a little bending is all you need to make it work. NICE FIND!

ECS's site says that is for the intercooler inlet/outlets. Charge pipe clip is bigger correct?

The clip is part of #23, it's included with the Stock Chargepipe, you cannot buy the clip separately from the dealer.

Haha Speedimage and I had a phone conversation about this this morning. We weren't able to figure it out so I guess we both came on here and asked the same question in two separate threads! Lol.

Did you get this C-Clip ? Did it do the Job? I am in need of one urgently too. It seems compatible to the N55 as well.

ECS fkn rules for selling these. BMW doesn't sell these separately...you have to buy the CP I believe just to get that C Clip. I swapped my CP a few months ago and this looks exactly like the OEM.

From what I understood from ECS that is not the c-clip replacement for the charge pipe connection to the throttle body. Maybe it was old news, dunno, but I would recommend to contact them first to confirm

How is it that NO vendor has been able to duplicate these yet...they'd be an easy sell.

No need for it again friend. I have a friend at the dealer who got me a used C-clip from an old bust charge pipe that was already replaced from another car.
Got the O-ring for $8.
