Oil change of my E90

Hey, I just bought a E90 330i and the car need a oil change now.

I am wondering can I just go to the normal oil change station (I am living in California) to change the oil for my car or I should go to BMW dealer to change it?

Thanks for the stupid question as I don't know much about cars.

Do not go to Jiffy lube et al. Go to the stealer. Better yet, learn to do it your self. It is easy (relatively) on these cars and empowering!

Agree with not going to jiffy lube.

Disagree about going to dealer, unless you have a coupon and resist having them fix anything else.

Not everyone knows how to diy. My brother can't turn a wrnech.

Best answer: OP, Find a reputable local mechanic that works on bmws. You probably can find one by posting in the forum section.

Sidenote, OP, if you mention what kind of oil to use, i will find you and ________ you.

Unless you know a good indy mechanic with BMW expertise, I'd take it to a dealer. A simple oil change should not cost much more tham $100 and will help you to establish a relationship for maintenance in the future.
