CPE Dyno day results

Mods: Procede v4 at 16.5-17psi, DCI, CPE charge pipe w Tial, DO Basic Meth kit w/ DO10 nozzle and something around 80/20 or higher meth mixture. I got thrown onto the dyno last minute due a GIAC 335 showing up and dynoing so poeple wanted to see the back to back runs. No logs, as it was REALLY last minute and about 100 different cars showed up. SNIZ was there with the e36 gt35r, however it was having tuning issues so he didnt bother throwing it on. For comparrison and fully bolted tuned new gtr made 378 on this dyno lol, that was sad.

My results:
349 whp, 387wtq at 16.5 psi
Baseline that day, 252whp 277 wtq, will post it tomorrow. Meth was turned off, so basically a bone stock car with a DCI and Chargepipe. When the car was fresh(around 1k miles on it) it hit 242 on this dyno bone stock. So with the engine being broken in, the DCI/Chargepipe at stock boost it picked up 10whp lol.

GIAC car: 335i, catback, Giac stage one tune, best he did was 288whp. Let's just say he was dissappointed lol. Graphs will be posted tomorrow.

Over all, 97ish whp gain with a procede and meth on a mustang dyno. It could have been higher if I actually upped the boost, this is my daily driven street map that maxes out timing. Curve looked AMAZING, like a baby's ass with huge "power under the curve results" meth is the way to go people.

Last time I was on this dynoed modded I had a full cpe catted turbo back exhaust on top off the current mods, and dynoed 352 on a different tune running more boost, I later went to a local dynojet and hit 426whp. According the my ricer math I should be in the low 400 range on the local DJ the way it currently sits.

Sounds like my dyno from today. but you're pushing some good torque. I did a 353/369. Meth wasn't working right and I was heatsoaking bad... Stupid Texas weather.

I can really see that happening at 18-19psi with race gas no doubt. I was actually real tempted to head up there being that I was in MD to begin with.

thats a crazy low reading dynojet than lol. Most dynojet numbers I see from stock people are in the 270-280 range. 240 is mustang style numbers lol

Yeah they told us all before we started to dyno that it's gonna be a heartbreaker.

Sorry...you text seems to be saying that you have a meth kit, but it was turned off during the dyno?

Is that right?

Because you also say "Over all, 97ish whp gain with a procede and meth on a mustang dyno".

So now I am confused

Meth was turned off for the baseline run only.

Ahhhhh.....OK.

I didn't catch that, but now it makes perfect sense.

Really Nice results for just tune+DCI+meth.

I take it that the basic meth kit does not give you progressive spray? Just kicks in fully at your boost setpoint?

Just a on off boost switch set to 7psi. Progressive is useless on this car.

Nice numbers for a heartbreaker dyno. Very nice indeed. Get that car on the 1/4 mile and let her rip!

Yes......I was following that on some of your other posts.

I am really impressed with what meth can do.

I've heard that anywhere between 12% and 15% is about the right correction factor between a Mustang and a Dynojet. Your statement above shows a 21% difference, man that's huge. I'm not disputing it, I have experienced close to the same thing after a disappointing run on a Mustang...

Regardless, it sounds like your car is running really solid for "all three of your mods". (I'm not counting a charge pipe as a power mod)

It's amazing the potential these cars have with just meth and 91 octane. 3 mods = 400+ WHP. 107 WHP delta from stock.

What Procede settings did you use on meth?

Well this is cpe's official dyno. Like I said all 3 bone stock bimmers that were on there, 135i, 335 coupe, 335 sedan all hit something in the 240 range. Personally bone stock I hit 242, say 275ish the the 'average' dynojet number, that means its has a 1.14 correction factor to hit average dynojet factors. 242 time 1.14 is 275-276ish. Take my 252 with a couple of mods and you get 287 with dci and charge pipe, which seems high? TAke 349 and you get 397whp, which seems pretty damn close to where I would expect my car to be on a dj. However this is all speculation, what matters the most is delta done that day. 97 is great for meth/tune at 16.5ish psi

So almost 400WHP realistically, on a street map for tune and Meth! Nice!

I really hate how low these mustang dyno's read, I wish they would just decrease the load a touch or work on the corrections to make it appear normal. (not sure which it is that makes it so low).

Anyway good stuff!

edit- wish u did 18 PSi run, would have liked to known if it was beneficial for power. I would assume an 8-10 HP gain if things were still efficient.

I wish I had a 18psi run as well, but like I said it was so last minute it wasnt even funny. I went there to help out and see a bunch of old buddies. Next thing I know a GIAC s1 is ready to dyno and they want to me to go next. My car was sitting for about 3 hours with oil temps at the lowest setting. I started it up, and started reving it for about 10 min so i can be over 170 to hit full boost. To be honest, it was close, as the pull started the car read maybe 175ish lol. AS you can tell from the dyno graph times, it was pretty much a bang bang bang type of dyno. No rest, 3 straight pulls, unstrap, NEXT lol. They had ALOT of people there so i didnt even think about messing with my numbers. Plus there were all 4th gear pulls which take a while on the heavy load dyno. btwn run 1 and 2, there was a minute of rest and it lost only 5whp lol. METH FTW.
