It took awhile, but paypal buyer credit finally credited the amount of the deposit back into my account. PAYPAL FTMFW!!!!

Fuck that bro I dropped my deposit back in Sept and they still let me open a dispute in Jan/Feb... Did you fund through CC, bank acct. or pp buyer credit?

I went through buyer credit and called them directly (not paypal themselves)... I spoke with a rep and explain the situation and they said they'd open a dispute despite the fact that it was past 45/90 days (whatever it was).

Call paypal again and see if they'll do it (try talking to someone different because you have to kick they're ass about it). If they still won't budge then go directly to your funding source.

Lesson learned: Don't give up! It's your money, and you have the right to get it back!

on top of this.... When you contact them again, feel free to use my name as another individual that opened a dispute with the same people for the same reason.... I'll PM you my paypal ID for reference...
