When you put in the charge pipe did you replace the DV with a BOV?

I didn't change the Diverter Valve at all yet. But I don't wanna do so without 100% knowing what I need to fix. Because I have no clue

Even with an un-modified car, troubleshooting is difficult. There is a lot of good advice on this board, but my recommendation is to find a different specialist. The recommendation to replace the turbo seems un-usual. You should try to find another shop to get a different opinion.

You are probably in over your head trying to fix this on your own.

Man, I already went to a local bimmer shop upstate that couldn't exactly tell me what was wrong. Then I went to BMW which only fixed half the issue, and finally petrol werks tested the car all around, and told me the only code they see is the diverter valve jammed . Its been a month and I can't solve this. Spent so much money, and mad frustrating.
