Funny. Don't have a place. Like to go to different spots, not tied down.

interested, brand too please.

You guys familiar with the term "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"/"Don't re-invent the wheel?"
--OP, if you list your maintenance guidelines and fluids that you use, I will 100% copy your routine.

ps. Yes, I'm aware of the video on the internet by Hankook about the super-generation of tires.

I've only used OEM fluids, filters, and parts (except brake fluid). I get everything from Tischer. I've been a Tischer customer since 1996 before they had the internet parts business. As I said I've followed pretty much BMW's schedule some changes a bit early for trans, diff, coolant, plugs, and brake flushes. 17,500 OCI's for engine oil. I didn't mention earlier that I replaced one O2 sensor at about 125,000 miles. I cleaned and swapped VANOS solenoids at 145K and at 195K.

This is phenomenal!!! Well engineered and built cars will easily go 200k+ mi with regular maintenance if quality parts are used.

My plan is similar but I also go to track. Fortunately I have amazing Indy shop that can fix just about anything. My car has 64K and I love it.

Do you notice chassis flexing more than before or have you noticed anything regarding handling that you would want to replace/upgrade?

How about engine mounts?

What tires and rims did you use ( brand, size) and how long did they last?

Hope it continues to run well!

Cheers!!

Thank you very much! Keep on trucking e90-grandpa. (please don't take offense, just commemorating your impressive milestone)

Engine mounts are still good.

I have a square setup consisting of 18X8.5 VMR CSL replicas running 235/40-18 All Season High Perf. - usually Yokohamas.

Awesome story
I think the 2 key points in that story
is
Basic 325 i, not too much electronics that can break/freeze
Manual transmission

I have a 335i with all the bells and whistles, with 61k on the odometer and one more year of extended warranty and am not sure if I am going to keep it longer than that

I have this same model and I also do alot of my own maintenance. I just hit 104,000 miles and still going strong, with not a single instance of major repair needed in 6 years (knock on wood) I installed an H&R suspension at about 96K and have kept up with all of the dealer recommended intervals since I purchased it, I also upgraded to an 18inch staggered wheel set. I like to think that the 325 and 330 are two of the best BMW's ever made. 2006 was the year to beat. Great Post!
