Black on black = .....all black wheels at first glance just look like your rolling on 4 black steelies or something, waste of money for such a crappy look imo.
I personally would go gunmetal or silver. I have silver but 2 days after a wash they are so dirty with brake dust they look gunmetal anyways. |

Dont do black... I hate black looks cheap and you cant see the wheel design... if you really want the dark look go for gunmetal.
Personally I think a black car is classy and should have a wheel that make the car look expensive and grownup. BM160 in Hyper silver are my favorite. |

I personally don't like black on black. I think black wheels look great on dark grey and maybe red and white, but not on black. They make the tires look grey/brown and dirty.
One determining factor that I would consider is what finish do you have on your door trim and front grills. If they are silver, the wheels should be silver. If they are blacked out, then you have the option to then can go gunmetal. I don't think gunmetal wheels look good on a black car with silver trim. It just looks unplanned due to not matching. I'm stuck between the same silver/classy and gunmetal/younger options as well on my BSM. I think you also need to look at the wheel design. Some designs are just too bright in silver and need to be toned down by gunmetal. Good luck deciding.

Any grey/silver, from gunmetal/anthracite to hyper silver will always look great on Jet Black.
I prefer hyper silver myself. |
