Can I tell just from looking whether Logic 7 installed?

Hi,

How can I tell just from looking whether a 2006 e90 vehicle (with idrive) has Logic 7 installed? If I recall correctly, there is some additional speaker in the centre console? So is there an additional speaker mesh? Is it above the dash (ie facing the windscreen)? Will it show up in photos?

If it is a 330i, the Logic7 was standard. If it was a 325i then there is a Logic7 system if there are speakers in the rear doors.

if you have an IDrive... go and click the "I" for info... from the you can go and search for Audio... if it give you the option with an icon 7logic then you do have 7 logic surround... peace

Thanks. This a 325 with the standard idrive (4 point compass).

So a non-logic 7 has no rear door speakers? I should be able to see that in photos?

The idrive info will help once I get a chance to see the car in real life.

Probably incorrect. Do you know what came standard on a car in Australia?

In 2006, Logic7 wasn't installed with the central speaker?

if you have a speaker between two vents on your dash, you probably have L7.

why not just check your radio for a full EQ... only L7 has that feature
