Yea, definitely have it painted before you install it. You could test fit it first, make sure everything lines up before you get it painted.

and i'm very happy with the lip. downfall was that when it arrived, the lip was distorted, it had a crack in it, but the shop baked it a few times, got it to its normal structure, fixed it all up for $150 cash

Very nice!

I totally curbed my last aero lip so I went ahead and got a new one from basonyr.

Went to the body shop to test fit and paint and I wanted to confirm it fits perfect. I got several pm's in the last month regarding the ebay aero lip, so I wanted to confirm that baysonr has them in stock (seems like theirs is one of hte few that have a perfect fit) and mine is confirmed to fit 10/10. That's all.

no longer available

Looks like this lip is no longer available. Some lips available for 24.99 but shipping is 65.00.

Any other options for great deals on aero lips?

Maybe OEM is the best route.

I don't like the fitment at the top. Looks like big gaps.

I got mine from ikonmotoring (http://www.ebay.com/itm/250897772436...84.m1423.l2649). Although it was shipped in a top gear solution box.

I am waiting for it to get back from the paintshop but I had to spend about a hour trying to bend it back to shape. They put it in a smaller box so that the 2 parts that stick up in the middle where bent down.

As far as the edge mine doesnt wrap around. It kind of just ends and its not as smooth. Its hard to explain.. I'll take pics once I get it back. It also goes about 1mm past my bumper when i did the test fit. I decided not to cut it because i didn't think i could get it to look very good. Did anyone else have their lip come like this?

read post 44 in this thread. I did that and got 100% perfect fitment. I'd try to redo that install because the driver side pillar thing has too much of a gap.

I'm wondering if the Bayson r lip will fit on my e90 sedan 2007 because on their site, they only mention 07-09 e92.

I don't believe aero lip fits sedans. I think you'd have To go with splitters.

Assuming you've already paid them, and they're overseas, I don't think there is much other than continuing to bug them. Possibly telling them that if they don't address your concern you'll flame them on the posts may do something but probably won't. No harm in trying, tho.

Best of luck in getting this resolved. Unfortunately, this is one of the things that occasionally arrises when buying cheap products from ebay.
