Corner delete on welcome lights

I can't seem to find any info on this, if my search missed something please don't hate me - I just did the corner delete coding on my car (SIDEMARKER_US nicht_aktiv) but it seems only to apply in drive modes, specifically NOT on the welcome lights (I unlock the car, angels and corners come on, turn on the car, corners go off).

Since I rarely see my own lights while driving, it seems a bit silly - any way to disable them during the welcome light phase as well?

How on earth is a lighting question in the wrong place in the lighting subsection? If anything, it should be in coding, but I think not.

No big deal bud it's fine. Search for "pol" and find the option for wl_pol or similar. Pol is the abbreviation for the corner led lights. Find the wl_pol or it's equivalent because all cars are different. Change it to nicht_aktiv
If you have that much trouble changing it, reread the lighting module and send me the trc file. DO NOT make any changes to the car via coding or the obc. I will edit it for you and you can flash it to the ecu

Why not code it? You put "DO NOT" as if your leading to something negative will come of it. I have had coding done via obd port, is there some concern there? Can you expand on this?

In the event of me changing his trace file with the corner welcome light delete and he modifies his lighting module, the values won't be the same

O ok thanks, so other coding via the OBD port is ok then? Also would a dealer be able to tell if the car has been coded by some diagnostic computer and can it void Warranty?

No no no.... Haha. All im saying is that if he were to send me his file but changed options after, the new file i sent him is different than the options he has coded after he sent me the file. It isnt a big deal but its another entrance for error to come into play. Coding does not void warranty. Code as much as you're heart desires

So I don't have LED corners, '09 with incandescents all around. So in my case, it turns out the proper code to set is WL_BLK_V from soft_einschalten to nicht_aktiv, but thanks so much for pointing me to WL_POL, put me on the right track for sure.

POL values are for the little LED lights on the side.

You mean the side markers behind the wheels? In any event, disabling WL_POL turned off my angle eyes. Opposite of desired (only angel eyes as welcome lights).
