Can't update BMW Assist
So I've had this problem for awhile now but haven't really payed (sp?) much attention to it. When I hold down my SOS button, my car can connect with BMW Assist but can't see my coordinates. Also when I try to update my services in BMW Assist, it says it has failed or something like that.
Anyone have this problem? Or know why this is happening? No new car warranty, just extended. However even if this is covered, I have extensive audio work going on in my trunk and I'm sure if the unit is faulty, my dealer will not replace it under warranty. I really don't want to take out my whole system and then have to re-install it. Anyone know if I can just replace my module? I know you would have to code it, right? Anyone know the price? Thanks. |

Could be something as simple as software, or more complex as a short or malfunction of the telephone feature.
More likely though is that BMW Assist is no longer active... $199 for first 3 years, then $199 a year thereafter... Are you paid up to date? I know that seems like a silly question. |

Pretty sure my dealer included BMW Assist with my extended warranty.
When I spoke with the agent at BMW Assist through my car, she didn't mention anything about my subscription. I'll check. Thanks. |
