I was really tempted by the C63 AMG Coupé today... help!!!

Before you say you are this and that...
I am not. I have never owned a Mercedes and currently drive an E92 328 that I custom ordered. I love my car and BMWs. So do not give me any B.S.

Now that that is cleared up...

So I saw a Mercedes C63 AMG Coupé today and I really liked it. It looked really high class and elegant. It was black with a two tone black and red interior. I must admit, it looks much sexier in person, although the where the rear window ends looks kind of demented. The E92's rear window ends smoothly (which I personally like more).

Hard decision for future!!!! Help!!!!!!
(obviously I am not going to buy it or an M3 in the next couple years, but I am starting to actually consider a C63 over a M3. I just have to drive them one after another.)

Here's a pic, but as I said you really have to see it in person. The pic does not do the justice.

Some guy in my building just bought one, and he told me he's getting it wrapped matte white after the winter. It sold me after looking at person. Slam a set of ADV's on it, reflector delete and you're all set.

In person its a completely different car.

Why whats wrong with liking a C63 coupe?? The car is flat out awesome plus i'm on my 4th bimmer in 10 years and looking for a change and that is the change. Always liked the sedan but I too laid eyes on the coupe and yes pretty freakin good. And remember a small perk here....NO RUN FLATS!!! Not sure of the Benz warranty for it was good like 5 years back then everything changed which kind of sucks. Good luck and go for a ride you have good taste.

The owner said he'd do it after winter is over, so look out for them from there! I'm sure with SEMA next week they'd incorporate something with this new C63.

Seriously. The C63 fans must be basing off looks alone because even after all these years the M3 still tops the C63 AMG (even coupe).

See these recent comparisons:

OP I when I was looking for a 328xi, I found some nice c63 amg sedans for the a little but more and very low mileage. If I could go back in time I would definitely have gotten the c64 amg sedan. They are also very rare where I live. So it would make you really stand out. It has a great sense of class and sportiness.

The fender flares look forced and not very smooth at all. Looks like a custom job. The flares on the M3 accentuates from the car beautifully.

My God some of you sound like fanboi's.

You don't have to like it, you don't have to prefer it over an M3.. but why do you have to knock it? Regardless of what you may think, the C63 in either configuration is a serious contender.

i'm just trying to decide which looks better in the garage

actually, a good friend has the C63 and we trade cars on occasion .. C63 is a beast but the 335 is a lot more fun and affordable to mod.. and a lot less trips to the gas station.. what i don't get about mercedes is every car they put on the road ends up with rusty lug nuts.. he's already had them replaced once in the c63 ..

only thing I wish the 335 had from the C63 is the exhaust note.. the Bastuk is pretty darn close and is most likely a future mod..

who gives a eff if u like benz's in a bmw forum? i love my bmw. i love my previous bmw. but i still like benzs and audis and lexus too. i love most all cars. hell, i still love remembering the good ol days of hondas from the early to late 90s. 92 integra gsr is still one of my favorite cars to this day. the C63 in sedan was a beast of a car... a coworker just recently got the c63 coupe and that shit is just as beastly, but with an interior that makes the m3 interior look plain. id still pick an e92m over a c63 coupe, but that dont make the c63 inferior to me. i would still give it props if i saw one. game recognize game. dont be a fanboy and bash on cars based on a badge. theres always a bigger fish out there.
